Handmade by Americans in Orange, CA...Hikaru, meaning Radiant Light in English, depicts a stunning Jewel-box decorated with Japanese Maple branches protected by the 'sheltering sky' a concept used often by America's greatest mission-prairie architect. The eye's focus is first on the jewel-box, but then the eye realizes there is something else, something larger, that refocuses energy into the entire lantern. Its the slow realization that Hikaru, Radiant Light, is something very special indeed.
